Sculpted From Fabric!

What a wonderul love affair I have had with fabric.
There was nothing more fun than digging through my Grandmothers scraps of fabric with their beautiful bright colors, unique printed designs and great to the touch textures. As a young six your old I spent hours and hours sitting on the floor at my Grandmothers feet, needle and thread in hand, deciding which of these beautiful canvases I would use next.
My dolls were fashion models for my creativity, embellished with left over fringe, rick-rack, buttons and anything I could find to add that special surprise.
As a soft sculpture artist designing blown glass Christmas ornaments, I still like that special surprise that comes from unexpected embellishments that are added to push a piece right on over the edge.
